I’m always looking for opportunities to serve our guests through the enhancement of our patron experience and our employees through professional growth opportunities. I often find myself walking the floor to greet guests and assist our employees in anything they need. What does a typical day in the life of a general manager look like? I would say that my true passion is data-driven marketing and electronic gaming operations. After that, I realized I had found my niche. Several years ago, I was on my way to Australia when I happened upon a job in gaming on a cruise ship, I went from running one casino on a ship to operating several casinos across the entire fleet. I fell into gaming completely by chance – my background is in mechanical engineering. How did you get into this position? Has this been something you’ve always wanted to do?
I have the opportunity to lead operations and clear all obstacles for our management team to successfully serve our employees and guests. I am the general manager, overseeing the strategic direction and growth of WinStar World Casino and Resort.
